I’ve been out of it for a while being now the proud father of two children Amelia and Dylan and wondering round in a sleep depraved state…Who needs drugs.
But I have been busy in my studio.

I have a gig on this weekend in Nottingham Sunday 25th July 2010 at ” Cast”.
Nottingham Playhouse, Wellington Circus , Nottingham , NG1 5AH.
Eva Abraham will be sharing her vocal talents with me and I’ll also be doing a short DJ set before the live performance.
Proceedings start around 6.00 pm so please come and check it out.

The album AL-PHA-X re-mixed is out including some great remixes from Pathaan , Alucidnation , Chilled By Nature , Pepper ,Ferni Duhalde ,Outfit ,Phil Higgs and Medaka.

I had the great pleasure of re-mixing an 80’s classic Fade To Grey by Visage with Andy Carroll of Soundfly about 9 months ago and it has been finally released.

The Big Chill record label are releasing a downloadable album called Busking for SolarAid which features the artists that played on the SolarAid Buskers’ Stage at The Big Chill festival last summer. My track “Planisphere” appears on this compilation album . The sales will help raise money for SolarAid. Please take the time to look at their web site and see what great work they’re doing.

I’ll be playing a DJ set with Mabel Label (Eugenie Arrowsmith) referred to us her side kick between 2.oo pm-4.oo pm and then later at 5.oo pmish doing an acoustic set at the Solaraid Buskers Stage on Friday.

The First has been compiled already and is entitled “The Early Experiments” 1990-2000 and it contains what I hope are some of the best Electronica instrumental tracks I’d  written and co-written over that decade(1990-2000) all of which , with the exception of one, have never been released commercially.

The Second album will be entitled “Sahara” and contains a collection of new and old tracks some of which have appeared in compilation albums , but have not been released separately or as part of an existing AL-PHA-X album.

All will be available by the Summer 2009.

Slow Down has been well received and has had some great reviews , but just as things were gaining momentum a massive blip occurred which was the fall of the great distributor “Pinnacle”. Why did this affect “Slow Down” ? It was the distributor my record company used both for physical (CDS) and digital downloads.

So effectively the record was made unavailable for quite a long period of time in either format (CD or Downloads) , but the good news is all is well again and it is available once more.
